HOW IT BEGAN
February 2020. The Philippines.
I had been practicing as a Tarot Reader, Intuitive Guide, and Energy Healer for over 20 years when something called me home.
In February 2020, I spent a month traveling through my motherland — learning from indigenous healers, sitting with powerful shamans and mystics, and reconnecting with an ancestral heritage that had always lived inside me but had never fully been named.
I was born in Lucena, Quezon Province. My family immigrated to San Francisco when I was seven. I grew up Catholic in California, slowly finding my way back to something older, deeper, and more true.
That journey to the Philippines is where this deck was born.
The Mystic Goddess Sigils Tarot is my attempt to honor that homecoming — through original designs guided by my spirit allies and ancestors, through symbols activated with sacred intention, and through the ancient script of my people written on every card.
WHAT MAKES THIS DECK DIFFERENT
Not Your Ordinary Tarot Deck
ORIGINAL DESIGNS
Every card in this deck is an original design — inspired by my travels in the Philippines, my studies in Peru and Bolivia, and the guidance of my spirit allies throughout the creation process. Nothing was borrowed. Everything was earned.
THE CEREMONIAL MALONG
The design on the back of every card was inspired by the ceremonial malong I wear when I perform sacred rituals and ceremonies. A malong is a traditional Filipino wraparound garment worn by the ethnic groups of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago. It is woven into every reading you do with this deck.
ACTIVATED SIGILS & SYMBOLS
Sigils are sacred symbols used across cultures for centuries — including the Philippines. Each sigil in this deck has been activated through ritual intention, giving it the power to speak directly to your intuition. They bypass the thinking mind and go straight to the source.
BAYBAYIN SCRIPT
On the reverse of each card, the keywords are written in Baybayin — the pre-colonial writing script of the islands of the Philippines. Nearly lost during colonization in the 18th and 19th centuries, I've included it here as a tribute to my Filipino heritage, culture, and ancestors. Your PDF guidebook teaches you how to read it.
FIVE ELEMENTS
Instead of traditional suits (pentacles, cups, wands, swords), this deck uses the four elements — Earth, Water, Fire, and Air — with Spirit as the major arcana. A structure that feels both ancient and alive.

Writing My Ancestors Back into Existence
Baybayin is the pre-colonial writing system of the Philippines — used by the people of the islands long before Spanish colonization arrived and slowly suppressed it into near extinction.
Many ancient cultures around the world have writing systems with deep, layered meanings — systems that could be read as everyday words, as sacred messages, or even used for divination. Baybayin is one of them.
I've included Baybayin on every card in this deck as a tribute to my Filipino heritage — and as a small act of keeping it alive. In your guidebook, you'll find the full translation of every keyword, plus a guide to reading and writing the script yourself.
Because some things are too sacred to be forgotten.

Q: Is this deck good for beginners?
A: Yes. The PDF guidebook walks you through every card, and the elemental structure (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Spirit) is actually more intuitive for beginners than traditional suits. The sigils are designed to speak to your intuition directly — trust what you feel.
Q: Does the deck work like a standard tarot deck?
A: It follows the traditional 78-card structure and is compatible with standard tarot spreads. The main differences are the suits (elements instead of pentacles/cups/wands/swords), the Baybayin script on reverse keywords, and the activated sigils in every design.
Q:What is the custom sigil?
A: A sigil is a sacred symbol created from the letters of your name and activated through ritual intention. In the What's Your Sigil, Let's Get Mystical, and The Works packages, I personally hand-create a 4×6 sigil for you — featuring the letters of your first and last name — and activate it through sacred ceremony before it ships with your deck.
